90 pts Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 2012
Bright, pale yellow. Very pure, perfumed aromas of ginger, licorice, rose petal and brown spices. Concentrated, supple and ripe, with impressive sappy intensity to the flavors of spices and fresh herbs. Builds nicely on the back half, finishing with lovely saline persistence and chewy grip. 90 pts Wine & Spirits June 2012
Grown in the Cafayate at 5,6000 feet, this has all the floral aspects of torrontes, along with a rich sweetness and a strict structure, which will soften in the company of fish curry. 88 pts Argovino September 2013
A rather forward and one-dimensional nose of torrontes’s classic green plum offers little promise of complexity, but what the wine lacks in depth it makes up for in length. The finish is incredibly long, lasting well over a minute, with that green plum flavor maintained on the back of a moderately acidic tinge.
