5/8/09
Only around 500 cases of this beauty were made from vines that are said to be 85 years old. Voted as the #1 Malbec at the recent Wines of Argentina Competition, this made some serious headway, blowing away some much bigger, established names along the way A seamless texture with ripe, smooth tannins gives this a beautiful captivating mouth feel and offering up outstanding palate depth with noted length on the finish. A base of sweet, expansive plum and dark berry flavors are accentuated with some well integrated oak that adds an extra dimension of complexity to an already impressive package. Just now starting to come into its stride this exceptional wine should drink beautifully over the next 3-4 years.
