We pretty much like almost everything that this renowned winery/winemaker produces and the current 2007 Pinotage is a real cracker, in the most positive context. Our notes read as such, savory with smoky bacon, charcoal and coffee ground nuances meshed into brooding dark red fruits aromatically. The palate is rich and concentrated with good supporting acidity and finer tuned tannins with a full on mouth full of layered dark fruit. An Exceptional Pinotage without the negatives – noted length, persistence and deep dark fruit make this an impressive bottle of wine for the money.

Ripe, with solid black currant, fig and plum sauce notes backed by a healthy dose of roasted vanilla, which frames the fruit-driven finish. Drink now.
