We have had great success with this wine in the past, and what was not to like about it? Great pricing, solid reviews and over delivering quality, not to mention the eye catching packaging all factoring in as well, making it an exceptional value that made it look way more expensive than its modest price point. The current release, the 2018, is a terrific follow up and has all the trappings of the previous vintage to once again make this Chilean Pinot Noir, from the famed Casablanca region, another great go to option.
Pinot Noir that drinks well under $10 is not the easiest thing to find but these guys seem to have it dialed in as of late. A solid James Suckling 91 pt score brings some validity to the equation and after trying the wine the review is justified. A medium bodied offering, with a core of juicy, bright red fruit that has nice lift and vibrancy, the tannins are sleek giving this a silky texture making this a terrific everyday option, be it with food or on its own.
