This is an exceptional effort and an impressive follow up to the highly reviewed 2019 vintage. Allan Scott have been on a tear the last couple of vintages with their Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with some pretty eye catching scores from the Wine Spectator, the 2019 receiving a 93 score and the just released 2020 Allan Scott Sauvignon Blanc a 92 pt review, respectively. The folks at Allan Scott commented on the fact that the 2020 harvest may be one of the better ones that Marlborough has seen in the last 20 years, so it appears that their 2020 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is rightfully deserving of its review.
These strong back to back reviews in their own right are noteworthy, the fact that they are on a wine that sells way south of $15 puts them in the wow factor category
92 points – Wine Spectator
Supple and succulent, offering a generous and juicy mix of passion fruit, Key lime and ruby grapefruit flavors. Expressive and strong on the finish, with touches of freshly grated ginger and green tea. Drink now.
