87 pts Wine Advocate Issue #220 Aug 2015
The 2013 Malbec is a ripe and fruit-driven Malbec from fruit grown at their estate in La Consulta in the Valle de Uco. The wine fermented in a combination of stainless steel and cement vats with half of it matureing in used barrels for some eight months. It’s a ripe, showy, aromatic and commercial Malbec with a mixture of flowers and spice aromas intermixed with smoky and meaty tones. The palate is medium to full-bodied with sweet, round tannins and some herbal and slightly bitter flavors towards the finish. 60,000 bottles produced.
