This is a pretty wine with good structure and depth for its modest price. The nose has a nice spice component with a touch of earth shading the dark red fruit on the nose that has freshness and lift. The palate is medium fuller bodied, sleek in texture, slightly creamy, which becomes more evident with aeration, with some spice and dark olive brininess accentuating dark berry fruit flavors, while the tannins have nice focusing grip to firm up the finish. This should drink beautifully over the next couple of years. Nice effort and a bargain for the price.
