Axel wines have always been farmed sustainably. Our early motivation in using these green practices was easy: Sustainable grapes yield the cleanest and more pure varietals.

Our Red Blend begins with Carignan for an intense base, body, and color. For added structure, we have added Cabernet Franc to enhance the mid-palate, finishing off with a bit Syrah for a persistent silky-soft finish.

The majority of the blend is grown in the Maule Valley, a sub-humid Mediterranean region, that shows well-marked seasons, a high amount of sunlight, and has an annual rainfall of 25 inches.

A deep ruby-red with aromas of fresh figs, plums, and nutmeg. big bodied and juicy on the palate, with silky tannins leading to a long smooth finish.
