Taken from the Latin word for “from the cape,” Capensis is inspired by the dramatic landscape of South Africa. Produced from some of the highest-elevation vineyards in the Western Cape, winemaker Graham Weerts creates a terroir-expressive Chardonnay that honors the greatness of South Africa.
Silky textured and elegant, with an aromatic explosion of lime, lemon, orange blossom, jasmine and spice. A tight palate of citrus and rich minerals drives a saline finish, light on its feet yet dense and long.
