90 pts Wine Advocate April 2023
The creamy and herbal 2021 Gran Reserva Carménère, produced with grapes from Cachapoal, combines moderate ripeness (13.7%) and good acidity (6.8 grams), reflecting the herbal, peppery and spicy variety with some vanilla and coconut. The palate is medium-bodied with pungent
flavors, and there's a dry finish. It matured mostly in American oak barrels (hence the creaminess, coconut and vanilla?), 20% of them new, for 10 months. 33,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2022.
