90 pts Wine Enthusiast ‘Editors’ Choice’ May 2019
A pale yellow color, this wine smells fresh, vibrant and inviting, with lively aromas of citrus, lemon-lime, yellow apple, green melon and a touch of mineral dust. Lightweight and well balanced, it has a bright acidic seam and fresh, zippy citrus and green apple tones, with hints of sea breeze and limestone minerality. Bright and sassy, this is well balanced and oh-so-easy to like and drink.

The 2018 Limestone Hill Chardonnay is picked in the morning and sees no wood contact. It has a well defined though slightly generic bouquet – perfectly enjoyable if not memorable. The palate is better, offering lime cordial and orange pith on the entry and a fine bead of acidity, and light tropical notes of guava and passion fruit toward the crowd-pleasing finish. Finishes better than it begins.
