From premium Stellenbosch vineyards, the Delaire Graff Botmaskop is a meticulously handcrafted blend of noble red varietals. Whole berry fermented to ensure gentle extraction of flavours and matured in 50% new French oak for 16 months, the Botmaksop is a classically styled blend. Powerful, yet elegant and polished, it displays aromas of dark berry fruit, spice and cassis. The softness of tannins and balance in structure complete this wine on the palate.
Rich aromas of cassis and spice with intense liquorice and blackberry flavours on the palate and fine, lingering tannins. Optimal ageing
potential of 5 – 8 years.

Delaire Graff combines fruit from the estate in Stellenbosch with 30% from Faure to produce this Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend with 41% Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec. Herbal and scented, with considerable finesse and focus for a 2018, it has red berry and blackcurrant leaf flavours, racy acidity, aromatic 50% new wood and fine-grained tannins. Bravo!
