98 pts Tim Atkin MW– 2019 Argentina’s Red Wine of the Year
“You could keep it for years, “says Alejandro Sejanovich of this incredible, world-class Malbec. You could indeed, which is remarkable when you consider that the vineyard was only planted as recently as 2010. Peppery and intense, this wouldn’t look out of place in a tasting of top northern Rhône’s, with notes of grilled meat, tapenade and wild thyme. A red with stunning intensity from a unique sight. 2025-37.

The aromatic profile of the very spicy 2017 Malbec is quite different and made me think of the intensity of high-altitude vineyards, which deliver very different wines. Everything here has great intensity: aromas, flavors and persistence. It’s concentrated and ripe, incredibly aromatic, but it’s not heavy. It has a medium to full-bodied palate, pungent flavors, good ripeness and a loooong finish. Very impressive. 3,500 bottles produced.
