3 ½ Stars 2020 Platter’s South African Wine Guide
Laudably poised & shapely given the price quality 18 (84 pts) mélange of citrus fruit & butterscotch, though no new oak.
88 pts Wine Enthusiast ‘Best Buy’ April 2020 This smells crisp and clean right off the bat, with medium-intense aromas of orange, yellow melon and ripe pear. The palate is light and easy-drinking, with ample acidity and flavors of baked pear and melon rind that lend subtle spice and a pithy bitterness through the medium-length close.

The 2018 Chardonnay is quite pleasing on the nose with a classic expression of apple, lemons, pineapple and pear and soft aromas of caramel and citrus blossom. Medium-bodied, the palate is fresh and straightforward, with hints of sweet corn kernel and a soft mid-palate. The wine ends with a lingering finish. It is a sure bet for the price tag.
