Single vineyard offering out of Agrelo, considered to be one of the finest areas in Mendoza for producing superior wines. With a few extra years of bottle age this wine is in a great spot, the fruit still front and center with all the spicy, herbal tones of the varietal fitting in place perfectly. Spicy and earthy, there’s still lots of life left in this with its dark cherry and dark plum fruit flavors while the tannins have now folded perfectly into the fruit. Made by the Durigutti brothers, Hector and Pablo, who are well respected in the wine world in their native Argentina.

The combination of skilled Winemaker Hector Durigutti and this particular vineyard usually results in excellent Cab Franc, even in a poor vintage like 2016. This smells spicy, leathery and a touch earthy and green. A tight palate of firm tannins offers flavors of dark cherry, black plum and chocolate.
