The vine age of the Three Gardens GSM blend is 47-69 years. The soil is deep, course sand over red clay and ironstone. It is aged in 11% new French oak and 89% seasoned American oak for seventeen months and can be cellared up to 10 years.
Medium depth crimson with purple hues. Ripe red fruits and black cherry on the nose with red rose petal perfume mingling with subtle savory and herbal notes. The bright and juicy fruits coat the palate and are balanced by pepper and sweet spices. Medium-bodied in structure with great complexity and lovely silky tannins which flow through the fruity, peppery and spicy finish.
