Predominantly Cabernet Franc and Merlot, coming in at 55% and 33%, respectively, with 12% Cabernet Sauvignon filling in the blend, this comes from the highly touted 2017 vintage. The nose showcases pencil shavings/graphite along with cedar and oak spice that compliment the assortment of red fruits aromatically. Medium fuller bodied this has lovely textural integrity where the wine spreads out across the mid palate, with a suppleness to it, while the core of dark red fruit has a savory nuance that adds complexity. Refined, powdery tannins give a firm structural support on the backend leading to a dry, savory finish. Young and evolving this should drink impressively over the next 5 years quite easily.

An elegant red, featuring notes of tobacco, pepper and bay leaf that frame the core of mulberry. Balanced and well-made, showing good focus and vibrancy. Moderate length. Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2023.
The wine has an intense, dark purple color with a violet rim; bright and vivacious in the glass, youthful. The nose is expressive with powerful cassis, plum, exotic spice and hints of floral aromas. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with intense flavors of crushed black fruit, cassis, vanilla and dark chocolate. The tannins are soft and silky, the acidity fresh, the flavor profile focused and linear. The wine has a persistent and long-lasting aftertaste.

For the price it is a really nice wine. Not too heavy and definitely not too light.
I will order more when it is back in stack.
