94 pts Tim Atkin MW 2020
Tank and barrel-ferment components are stylishly paired in this cuvee of Sauvignon Blanc and 8% Semillon. Poised, nuanced and subtly wooded, this has cream, grapefruit and gunflint notes, some baking spices and a core of pithy, sea shore minerality. 2021-25.
4 ½ Stars 2021 Platter’s South African Wine Guide
Multiply picked sauvignon with 7% semillon. 73% barrel-fermented & matured portion lends roundness & body but doesn’t intrude on crisp, pebble grassiness. Tantalizing minerality with appealing salty twist at finish of 19 (92 pts).
True to its name – The Wild Child plays with a fun montage of white peach and dehydrated strawberry flavours, ending with blackcurrant lingering on the finish.
Floral aromas entice yoursenses. Each sip awakens a hint of toasted tobacco leaves, making it the perfect pairing to a Thai Green Curry or Moroccan spiced risotto.
