‘Our dad, Stanley, loves Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s the world’s classic red variety and he has made some beautiful ones. Today, we enjoy Cinsault and our Cinsault vineyards, planted in 1997, are really coming to age now and producing great quality grapes. in the 1970’s and 1980’s, most wineries in South Africa added a small percentage of Cinsault to Cabernet Sauvignon to add freshness. We believe these two varieties complement each other very well, just as we bring old and new, tradition and fresh ideas together in our family business.’ Attie and Zak Louw, 7th generation

Our Cinsault vineyard, planted in 1997, is really coming to age now and producing great quality grapes. In combination with the traditional Cab Sauv this forms a very exciting blend of racy aromatic freshness and structure. The nose shows lovely red and black cherry aromas with some fresh herbs in the background. The palate is light bodied with juicy fruit and a fresh acidity.
