96 pts Tim Atkin MW 2019

Attie Louw is one of the stars of Breedekloof and this one is his best wine, a Chenin Blanc that rivals almost anything produced in South Africa. Partially skin fermented, it’s a fine, stylishly oaked white with wonderful elegance and texture, with citrus, pear and aromatic spices. 2020-2028

94+ pts Greg Sherwood MW

One of the most confident and intense expressions of Chenin Blanc in the region. The precision, poise and complexity on the palate is truly impressive. The aromatics show sweet yellow citrus, exotic banana rock candy and sweet grassy wet thatch notes. There is such a lovely balance between stony minerality and pithy herby spice and white citrus and green apple persistence. The oak is so integrated and subtle making it a footnote in the overall greatness of this wine. A real benchmark for the region.

4 ½ Stars 2020 Platter’s South African Wine Guide

Sophisticated & accomplished single-vineyard flagship, 18 (93 pts) follows impressive form. Muscular, expressive yet nuanced & complex, showing multi-layered stonefruit, creamy lees richness from 10 months in old large barrels, natural-yeast ferment.
