Ring Bolt Cabernet Sauvignon Sauvignon 2020

Tasting Notes

The Ringbolt label has been one of Australia’s most reliable, and without a doubt one of Australia’s best value Cabernets for a number of years. Being from the Margaret River region of Western Australia makes that feat even more impressive. Ringbolt has a history of garnishing some noteworthy critical accolades and this was given a 93 pts from James Suckling, which rings true to its exceptional quality. The just released 2020 Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon has an engaging floral lift that leads into a palate that is juicy and loaded with plush, succulent fruit. We are offering this praiseworthy Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon for $17.99 a bottle. For all you fans of this wine who have enjoyed it in the past this is another great take on a well-made Margaret River Cabernet that at under $20 a bottle is hard to beat.

Ringbolt Cabernet 2020

93 pts James Suckling

This is very floral, with lots of violets, together with such attractive blueberries, blackcurrants, cherries, terra cotta and fresh herbs. The palate is very intense, with rich, fine tannins that have supple texture and bright, taut red and dark-berry flavors. Toasty-oak edge to the finish. So approachable. Drink or hold.

Winemaker Notes

A bold crimson red in color with magenta hues. The nose has rich aromas of violets, black cherries and mulberries with hints of cassis and forest-floor characters. The wine opens with the pretty floral characters of the nose and a rich blackberry edge before progressing to the mocha oak mid palate and finishing with succulent tannins that continue the experience long after the wine has left your mouth.
