The Robert Oatley team makes impressive wines across its portfolio and the one wine that seems to put this into perspective is the 2016 signature Series Cabernet Sauvignon. Fuller bodied, this is loaded up with some spice and bay leaf infused fruit flavors that fills the palate, the tannins on the backend are firm enough to give this the structure to age magnificently yet not hinder its enjoyment as we speak. All things are in balance, suggesting that should be an impressive drop for a number of years.
