Aug 2018 – The 2014 Sutherland Pinot Noir is a pretty wine that shows the more feminine side of the varietal, showcasing an aromatic lift reminding of strawberry fruit nuanced with some earthy spiciness on the nose. Medium bodied with a smooth texture, the red fruits are delicate, but still expressing surprising staying power and length with lighter tannins and a savory end note that brings this an elegant conclusion. This is showing well now and should be enjoyed over the next couple of years.
