A blend of fruit from Blind River and Dashwood, in the Awatere, and from the main Wairau Valley, Tinpot Hut’s 2018 Sauvignon Blanc does a nice job balancing ripe, tropical notes against grassy, leafy nuances. It’s medium-bodied and plump in the mouth yet with a long, lime juice-riddled finish.
