Very deep, bold and bright purple-colour and the aromas are wonderfully clear, clear and pure, speaking loudly of cabernet sauvignon subtly backed with classy oak. The palate is supremely elegant and beautifully proportioned, with concentration but also elegance and style. A wine of real panache and great potential for cellaring.

Plump blue and black fruit mingle with mint chocolate, dried herbs, pencil shavings and fresh violets on their stems. Tannins are chalky and muscular, taming the succulent fruit. There’s a cool edge that contributes a crunch of acidity. The oak shows on the nose, in particular, but should integrate with time. This is a lucid wine with a decade or more ahead of it
