Coming from a superb vintage this is a medium bodied Shiraz that should have broad appeal, be it on its own or with an assortment of foods. The nose offers notions of cracked pepper and a hint of vanilla oak spice to the cherry and vibrant berry notes aromatically. Medium bodied with luscious cherry and darker red fruit flavors there’s a subtle savory note as well that adds intrigue. Lifted acidity and well managed oak tannin are in perfect balance giving this a smooth mid palate feel helping to bring this to a juicy, lengthy finish. This is a great food wine but it drinks beautifully on its own. This has the structure to age nicely over the next 6 plus years quite easily.
