This Las Compuertas comes from the zone of the same name, from very old vineyards planted more than 100 years ago on alluvial soils on the northern bank of the Mendoza River, more than 1,000 meters above sea level. It’s a red with deep flavors, rich herbal notes, and most of all, spicy and sweet tones. The texture is very smooth, and the fruity sensation is persistent and lasts until the end in a malbec that’s smooth and ready for a meaty stew.
