Pale straw colour with flecks of green when it catches the light: this wine is drenched in citrus lemon, lime and orange peel- with a healthy dose of apple blossom fragrance, which hints to its ethereal nature. On the palate just-ripe pineapple, apple and lemony freshness is underscored by a subtle wet stone salinity. A gently textured mouthful draws into a bright yet lingering acidity.
Not your ordinary chardonnay. Ripe naartjie and orange flavours with a lovely textured mouthfeel.
Matching Foods: Pair it with smoky swordfish with a pineapple salsa; or an unctuous pork belly served with caramelized apples. Fatty rich dished work well as the acidity of the wine neatly cuts through the fat and refreshes your palate to go back for another bite.

Opening scents of lightly toasted spice, brioche and wood-grilled apple lead the nose, with supporting roles from hints of orange blossom and star anise. The palate is bright and focused, with precise acidity that guides the bright citrus and tart apple flavors through to the mouthwatering finish. With time, the finish evolves into notes of toast and spice.
