As the wines from San Pablo tend to be, the 2018 Polígonos San Pablo Cabernet Franc is austere and sharp, with less ripeness and alcohol than the others. This is only 13% alcohol despite the fact that it’s harvested later than any other regions (it’s one of the last grapes harvested in the winery). It’s vibrant, varietal, herbal and fresh, serious and dry, with a long finish. It matured in a 2,500-liter oak foudre. 3,000 bottles were filled in February 2019.

This racy Cabernet Franc from winemaker Sebastián Zuccardi is made entirely in concrete. Plum and berry tones are full and fresh on the nose and palate, while flavors of black fruit, herbs, tea and tomato linger on the smooth finish. Drink through 2024
